Product Portfolio Manager of plant protection products for Central/South EU Zone

EU market is believed to be one of Rainbow’s major markets in its strategic plan. Since November 2022, Rainbow announced the acquisition of 100% stake in Spanish Agrochemical Company Exclusivas Sarabia S.A. in cash. Since the acquisition of Exclusivas Sarabia, Rainbow is rapidly integrating its product system and marketing network, based on its clear strategic plan for the EU market.

We are looking for an experience Product Portfolio Manager of plant protection products for Central/South EU Zone. Apply if you want to join a dynamic international team as expert responsible for study verification and dossier preparation for registration of plant protection products in European Union.

We have office in Spain and will set up office in Poland, work at office or remote are both acceptable.

Job description and tasks: 

• Developing and maintaining knowledge of crop protection products. 

• Developing competitive product portfolio, along with customer needs.

• Developing special crop plant protection program for farmers. 

• Leads market research projects across categories.

• Preparing marketing materials to promote efficiently the product portfolio.

• Constant support and active work with sales staff.

• Providing advice to registration strategy and suport to Regulatory Team.

• Developing annual budget and monitoring its day to day performance.

• Ensuring targeted gross margin level. 

• Cost and risk management.

Requirements: 

• Higher education: agronomy, biology or equivalent discipline. 

• At least 5 years’ experience in different marketing and sales positions, ideally in an international agrochemical company.

• Deep knowledge of portfolio and product marketing.

• Experience in the launching and international distribution of products.

• Very good level of written and spoken English, other language skills are advantageous.

• Self-motivation.

• Have the potential of leading a small team and excellent communication and team player skills.

• Ability to manage complex issues and prioritize workload.
