Expert in efficacy of plant protection products

EU market is believed to be one of Rainbow’s major markets in its strategic plan. Since November 2022, Rainbow announced the acquisition of 100% stake in Spanish Agrochemical Company Exclusivas Sarabia S.A. in cash. Since the acquisition of Exclusivas Sarabia, Rainbow is rapidly integrating its product system and marketing network, based on its clear strategic plan for the EU market.

We are looking for an experience expert in efficacy for plant protection products. Apply if you want to join a dynamic international team as expert responsible for study verification and dossier preparation for registration of plant protection products in European Union.

We have office in Spain and will set up office in Poland, work at office or remote are both acceptable.

Job description and tasks: 

• Giving scientific and senior advice in efficacy of plant protection products.

• Preparing biological assessment dossiers (BADs), draft registration reports for plant protection products (section B3) based on the provisions of Regulation 1107/2009 and the guidelines of the European Commission, EPPO and national requirements.

• Analysis of registered plant protection products in EU, GAP development for EU registration, providing advice on strategy, setting up efficacy protocols planning and trials and generating data for plant protection products.

• Responsible for data gap analysis, 

• Coordination of the development of registration documentation for plant protection products and participation in the process of their registration. Evaluating authority requests and comments based on knowledge and available literature.

• Cooperation with GEP CRO for plant protection products efficacy trials program.

• Verification study plans and efficacy reports.

• Comparative assessment preparation.

• Mentoring and supervision of junior experts.

• Project management.

• GEP system knowledge.

Requirements: 

• Higher education: agronomy or equivalent discipline. Scientific background is advantageous.

• At least 3-5 years of practical experience in efficacy in the regulatory context of plant protection products.

• Excellent understanding of agronomic practices, crops and application techniques.

• Solid experience within efficacy field studies, writing BAD and regulatory professional in the area of plant protection products.

• Experience in GEP.

• Very good level of written and spoken English, other language skills are advantageous

• Self-motivation.

• Have the potential of leading a small team and excellent communication and team player skills.

• Ability to manage complex issues and prioritize workload.
